Welcome to the MOOC “Soft Skills for Effective Participation”. On this website you will be able to take a wide range of online courses that will help you develop various key competencies for effective and successful participation.
Soft skills are at the heart of the education and employment revolution. Competency-based learning is here to stay with the Bologna Process, and the European Union has made the upskilling and reskilling of workers in the Member States a priority.
Furthermore, the STUPS project has identified the current gap between acquired and available competencies as one of the main barriers to be overcome in order to improve student participation in European universities.
Therefore, this MOOC has been configured in four blocks, an initial introductory one, to land with solvency in the world of competences, and three others with the key competences identified during the development of the project: leadership, communication and teamwork.
